Map & driving directions (from Málaga airport)
The best place to get lost is leaving the airport, so that's where you must pay attention.  As you come out of the airport you will come to a roundabout, which you go straight over and then stay in the right hand lane, as you will take the first exit right (just past the San Miguel brewery).  It's only about 200 yards from the roundabout.  This will take you onto a dual carriageway, again stay on right hand side as you will be filtering right after about 1 - 2 kms signposted AP7 Algeciras (quite a small blue sign and easy to miss).  AP7 is the critical road and is the main toll highway.

Stay on it for about 80kms and through 2 toll booths.  (It splits twice, with the other section called the A7, which you must ignore - just keep going on AP7 peage to Algeciras).

After second  toll booth you will eventually come to Estepona.  Go past the first 2 Estepona turn offs (Este and Estepona).

Immediately after 2nd one branch off right sign posted Algeciras, Estepona and Cadiz A7. Roundabout at top of hill; take second exit signposted to Casares (wiggly poor road).

After 8kms T junction, turn right, sign post casares (if it is still there). Up hill past Venta Victoria. Continue 2 kms up hill; restaurant on left called Arroyo Hondo. 300 yards past the restaurant, turn right on to a concrete track. There is a stone sign, partially hidden saying Celima, La Manga. Continue up the hill for +/- 1.5kms to. The concrete turns to tar at the top of a steep bit. There are 2 houses on the tar; Casa Estrella is the second one on the left; white with palm tree and olive tree outside.

The whole journey should take 1 hour and a quarter.
